BJW: I want to buy a tablet. What kind did you get?
A 7" quad core Google Android 4.4.2 KitKat 8hd tablet with a dual camera. The manufacture is Alldallmall. Bought it new on eBay for $38. Not fancy but it fits my needs.

When it comes to tablets, etc., I know nothing about them. What is the attraction to them? What can you do with them?
I have a kindel which I love. I'm on my lap now & it's a pain. wore down the kindel so have to use this. Got this one to do more extensive work. And for so long I couldn't walk or sit at my desk & this one sits on my lap when I sit in my recliner. Am getting better now but it's been 15 months since the operation. So am glad I have this.
I want to thank all of you who encouraged me to not back down when dealing with my lawyer. Just received a voice message (couldn't get to the phone in time) & he is issuing a check without the final on it & sending copies of the checks they mailed out. I'd asked for a full accounting so we'll see what he sends. Thanks again.

I will. I have a feeling this will go on for awhile because expenses should not be in there & just receiving copies of checks in no way tells me what was paid for. It could be a payment for joe smith for all I know. I have a feeling he will balk at that. We'll see.
This is the last time I am trying to post this and My crappy laptop (HP) is going to be replaced by a tablet really soon. I am on my 5th and have lost everything on this one recently, even after putting $245 into a new keyboard and hard drive at Data Doctors (ripoff). Daughter has a 7" Samsung that is nice but I want something bigger. Probably 10". Am DONE with laptops.
BTW: Thanks for asking about the hip. I HAVE RECOVERED !!! It was the Psoas muscle that needed rest and recup. Started on Aleve and stopped trying to do so much. Sorry for the underline. The computer wants to dothis so Iwill just let it. Neverbuy an HP.
I will never buy another HP - they are total CRAP.
