The hip is coming along. See my post as of today on another thread. "How is Your Hip Replacement " or something like that.

Greenville was exceptional but too much bible talk for me. And the Osher group was too far from main streets of Greenville. Looking for less driving, not more. Lv2Travel: I am sorry if I did not respond. I always try to be nice. So thanks, anyway.
No worries! Btw, we are not church goers and we have encountered no issues. It doesn't even come up. We are involved in many retirement groups/senior centers. Best of luck to you. I hope the house sells and you find just the right place whether in the same town or elsewhere.

Well, having worked with children with disabilities nearly all my life, I don't know if I am for this or not. Up until now, they have just let nature take its course, and the course was no pregnancies. I feel especially bad because daughter just went to her gyne after a long period of not going for years and I happened to mention something about grandkids. My bad. She says i did not put this idea in her head, but they do want some help with this, since she is older and the time for it is swiftly passing.

Of course, if there were a babe with or without disabilities, we would love him or her just the same. But it does make life alot more difficult for the parents, just speaking from social work experience. My d-i-l suffered a very disastrous pregnancy with a child missing part of the brain, and had to abort it. She won't have anymore babes... unhappily.

No one even wants to SEE this house, so I may not have to worry about moving anywhere right now.

Sometimes you have to follow your heart. I was blessed, never wanted any then found out I wasn't fertile anyway. I hope they find their happiness, as do I for us all.

Can't find that dang hip thread, and I was following it for weeks! Duh!

Default Ah, total free time is great! (At least for a while).

Not a thing written on my appointment calendar until Aug. 6, when I have to catch a plane. That's almost three weeks! There is some stuff I have to get done by then, but no specific deadline date for any of it. It is a great feeling, coming on the heels of a lot of stress connected to our HOA, of which I'm the president.

However, I wouldn't like it if the calendar were always blank like that. Meaningful activities are still important to me, just prefer them at a slower pace than when I worked full time.
