If you're on disability you don't need to wait until you're 62. And I think it doesn't cost the $10, either.

Odd Stray is correct - take a copy of your SSDI statement and you get what is called an America the Beautiful Access pass. Free - Good for your lifetime with the same benefits that the Senior pass does. You get these passes at any Federal Recreation Area that is going to charge you an entrance fee.

Call this local Fish and Wildlife office and see if they can get you one. Habitat and Population Evaluation Team

If you are on disability, you can get a lifetime pass for disabled people. They used to be free, maybe still are.

When I went to the site, I did not see Fergus included. THANK YOU. Right now it still is tough to drive to Fergus (we're 9 miles from there) & do my grocery shopping. Slowly but surely I'm getting a little stronger but still use a cane & walker. I've only managed to walk 1 & 1/2 blocks so far but hope to get stronger & stronger. Can't drive far yet but working on it so it wouldn't matter if I wait until September.

Wow, we're having severe thunderstorms, 70+mph & 50mph in places. I hear the thunder but it often misses us for some reason. Will be staying up til this is through. They've been breaking in all nite with storm warnings.

This is my response to Happy In Wyoming. Apparently the thread was closed and I still want to get my 2 cents in. Fire me. Won't be the first time.

You could not be more wrong. I'm a registered Democrat and I have a great sense of humor. Been told that many times.

The people who turned Montana Griz's post into a dang nightmare that should be ashamed of themselves.

And whoever moved the OP to a different thread...... well if I said what I'm thinking, I'd get another 3 day "punishment."
