Not a cheerful trip for me, but it's not about me at this point.

Having a plan makes some people happy and they want to talk about it, a catharsis of sorts that helps. You may have accepted this, but others may have finally given it thought and need to talk about it. I read those threads like I listen to my parents; they are working it all out and talking or taking action that gives them peace of mind.
Remember the love and the joy, the gifts they leave you.

They're simply a measure of how many rep points you've received. Your 11th green/gold star becomes one red star. The green and then gold bars measure your progress toward a gold star in increments of fifty rep points for a green bar and 100 for a gold bar.

I'm thinking of changing my name, so I guess I'll go back to 0 on the reps. Those reps were a long time coming, lol. Thank goodness there's no demerits.

I still don't get it. Some folks have a lot more green bars than I do, and no gold stars. Some stars have a red mark above them, some stars have a green mark above them. This is all too complicated for me.

We are all going to die, some time, some place, from some thing.

I personally do not care to focus on it. I've accepted it. Nothing I can do about it.

I am all for living life and enjoying it as much as possible.
Not just you!

Nah.

Once you received for 50th RED star you get a $5 off coupon to Six Flags amusement park. When you've earned your 100th RED star you get one complimentary all you can eat dinner at Golden Corral Buffet. Remember: one red star is equal to ten gold star.
