And I would be glad to give a stand-up comedy routine. That ought to drive a certain number of people away.

If you are the security detail, you can also keep people from throwing eggs at me during my stand-up comedy performances.

On to a different assignment. I believe Stan4 is a physician. Perhaps she would agree to do the mental health screening of all potential attendees.

ClarkPark - The stained glass is beautiful, especially in the bay window! It makes me mad, too, that they are going to build a 120-unit apt. building on that site. Is it included in any sort of historic district? I thought if it is in an official district they can't do that. It seems money & power talk. 120-units on a fairly small piece of land sounds like they will have to build up, OH - I see -- 6 stories -- and a higher building may cause some shade issues for the neighbors, as well as possible parking issues. I hope everything does go well with the new project. I like the others, consider it a loss.

We better take a vote as to whether this "City-Data retirement home" we are all planning is to be a nudist resort. (See the "New stuff in retirement" thread).

Ummm, I turn away from seeing myself in the mirror after taking a shower, can't imagine looking at others my age & older head on. Would gross me out I'm afraid. I vote no on naked.

"Clothing Optional Day" could be every Hallowe'en. That way we scare all the kiddies away and keep all the candy for ourselves.

There's a popular bar & restaurant here in Philly that attracts a "mature" crowd .... it's called The Venture Inn. Locally it's referred to as The Denture Inn. The nearly 200 year old structure is the former stable of the Barrymore family of theater fame, whose mansion was across the alley-way.
