The tel icon next to her name is gray, defunct I guess. All white page online directories I'm finding scan for a "report" for a cost. Googling the name brings up nothing.

Try Googling the name. You will have several options pop up and you will need to do some weeding out.

Good luck.

Thanks all, I give up. She will just have to lose out on what I want to let her know by tomorrow. She is a retiree (retired teacher). Cannot fathom why she'd give the wrong email address in different instances and allow her phone mailbox to be full. That is so irresponsible. What if someone were trying to reach her with a true emergency? Does she not know how to clear her own messages, or is she just too lazy to do so? Sorry for the rant, time for a beer.

My first thought would be that she could be ill or ...

That was my thought too. If you know her address, try sending a letter. If it comes back no longer there or deceased, you'll have your answer.
Or like the person who used to live in my apartment, did not leave a forwarding address, sometimes people do that if they are in serious debt. They don't want to be found.

Or, if they are without a computer or internet for awhile, their account may be deleted. Yahoo did that to me when I moved in with family & didn't have internet for a year.

If the icon is gray, it could mean she has an unlisted number, or that she has given up her landline. As someone else mentioned, if she relies only on her cell phone, you won't find that info online.

Just saw her last week. She needs to tell me today if she wants to be part of an event tomorrow. I had said I'd be in touch with everyone involved by email. She listed her email address in two different places, a wrong address. I did a logical variation on the letters in the address, and it went through with a message to call me. No response. Perhaps it's another Debbie. Meantime, phone mailbox still full. She's a retiree so she has lots of time to clear her messages. This is aggravating. I give up. On another note, it's a lesson for older folks to keep the lines of communication open for obvious reasons.

Good idea but I don't do FB. I waste enough time online. (:
