As bizarre as the weather is here, I see the full moon, clear sky in the east, AND it's snowing. And it's 5 degrees. Yes I stood outside for an hour just watching. Merry Christmas everyone.

Well as much as I sure want to visit my relatives today, there's a few feet of fresh snow and it's still snowing hard this morning with zero visibility and white out conditions. Even though I have a Jeep and can go anywhere with no problems, I may just sit this Christmas out not really wanting to drive the 90 miles and 3,000 feet down to my relatives going through mountain passes. Guess I'll settle for quiet in front of the fire and a book, with a rum and coke.

Darn.

Heheheh.

Good decision. Discretion is the better part of valor when it comes to that sort of thing. No matter what our driving skills, white-out conditions and mountain roads do not mix well. If your relatives do not understand, then they are numskulls. Enjoy your day.

Sounds good to me! Also reminds me of Christmas in the mountains of No. Idaho where I lived for five years. We didn't have to drive as far as you would but we had to ski down the mountain to get to our vehicle. I don't think we ever went anywhere on Christmas Day.

My day will be quiet too. I'll be cooking my Christmas dinner pretty soon and, maybe, do a tad of housework but that's about it. After work yesterday it feels good to just SIT here! lol
