On the bright side, I don't have to hire a team of lawyers and advisors or hide my identity now. On the not so bright side, I can continue my concern over whether we'll have enough or outlive our money. In other words, life goes on and I'm happy for that.
I got the $4 too which paid for the one ticket I bought for each of the last two drawings. And like you, I feel almost relieved not to have to worry about dealing with all that money I might have won.

Fortunately she has, so far, slept through the night without any accidents in her crate.
I had one winter puppy. The night skies were amazing at 2 a.m.

Well you got your $4 back. I did have 3 numbers, but got no money back cause my powerball was one of those numbers but wasn't the right powerball (I had 8 for powerball, not 10). Arizona does have another 4 new millionaires from last night's drawing, and 21 people won $50,000.

Yes it's much easier not having to decide what to do with all that money - and I probably would have had a heart attack if I had won

Out of five tickets, not one number matched a thing. I should get some kind of award for that. I bought five more tickets today for Saturday's drawing. Figure everyone else would be so upset, no one would buy them. Anyway it's only $40 million this time.

I do not need a million+ bucks.

What I need is enough to pay my debts off and enough to buy a home in an ideal location for me; have not figured where that is yet.

I also have a couple of kids who have made multiple poor choices; I'd like to give something to them in the hopes they can turn their lives around.

I bought four tickets and didn't match a single number either!

The Arabic language film "Theeb" which if I recall correctly I recommended highly in these pages, is one of the five nominees for best foreign film. It's the only one of the five that I've seen , but I will start remedying that in the next few days.

I spoke with the apartment complex office manager on Friday and found out that I could set up a payment arrangement for the pet deposit (so I don't have to make a lump sum payment) I went to the animal shelter today, and there is a cute, little chihuahua mix that will be available for adoption by me on Wednesday. Now I'm so excited and will be counting the hours until I can go and get her Wednesday.

Default Delighted

That is great news - so many dogs/cats need homes. Do you have a name?

Thanks Umbria! Her name is Jane. The shelter's Officer told me that her owner had passed away. She was shivering in the kennel and didn't seem to like the other dogs' barking.

I am thinking of changing her name, but she's gone through so much change already ... so I'm undecided!
