Meo,
I am so sad your son has died. I can not imagine anything worse than losing a child. <<HUGS>>

https://www.compassionatefriends.org. This group and others helped my sister when her young-adult son was killed nearly 20 years ago.

Is there anything we can do to help?

Has anyone heard from CCc girl? I wonder if she ended up in the hospital again.

Well the skunk problem was dealt with last night. Some more snow overnight and this morning it's so foggy visibility is about 5 feet, and it's freezing fog too. Frog! Very very quiet, no birds, no nothing moving. Glad I don't have to get out and drive in this.

We've got some snow coming, maybe up to 18" (according to several websites) but the grocery store in town was the busiest I've ever seen it in my 10 years here. All the registers were open and there was a long line at each of them - it reminded me of being back in CA, shopping at Costco on a busy weekend.

You would think the prediction was for 18'. Chatting with folks in the store it sounds like the TV stations are really hyping it, talking about three ft.

A search for her posts in the past two weeks brings up nothing. The advanced search option doesn't always work though, so I wonder when she actually last posted. Hoping she's OK.

It is snowing now. An inch or two is expected tonight.

According to NOAA, 12-24" is expected. This is actually an improvement. Earlier today 18-24" was expected. I am miserable just thinking about it. High winds and heavy, wet snow. Great combination for shoveling, eh?

Had a blizzard this afternoon, total white out conditions. Lasted about two hours. That was awesome!
