Back from playing with the dogs. I have 18" of fresh snow, wind is howling, additional 10-12" snow forecast for tonight. Winter Storm Warning and Avalanche Warning for today and tonight. Fun watching the dogs romp and play in this. Coffee, must have coffee.

For those of you in the track of this storm, stay safe!

That was quite the storm last night! I opened the curtains so I could watch all that fantastic lightning! The cats hid in my bed. lol I was surprised to wake up to snow this morning and it was still snowing when I went to work. It's been snowing all day but not enough to accumulate. I can barely see the mountain through the clouds but the snow level is clear to the bottom and I know Sedona is just beautiful. Guess I'll have to wait till the clouds lift and the sun comes out to really appreciate it though. I'm off the next two days so it can snow all it wants! lol

AZDesertBrat -- I'm glad you got a little sprinkling of snow! They said on the news down here that they could get some as low as 3,000 ft. Enjoy your "weekend".

It's all gone... I was hoping it might last a day or two! Nothing on the Sedona Red Rocks this morning either but Mingus Mountain looks plenty white and cold. lol Nothing but sunshine for a week now. Wish it warm up a bit though.

My "weekend" will be busy. Have some stuff being done to my house, selling my washer and dryer and expecting some company. I am having a section of my floor re-leveled and a plumbing 'problem' taken care of. The joys of home ownership. J/K...it's not that bad, just costs money!

And it's still snowing. It's fun to watch the dogs romping and playing in this. A little over two feet now, 15 degrees outside. A friend higher up than me has 6 feet of new snow. Dogs are curled up on their beds snoozing, I'm in front of the fire with COFFEE.

5 below zero yesterday morning, up to 8 degrees this morning. SUNSHINE and temps in the upper 40's forecast for the next 10 days. I enjoy the snow, but am ready for a thaw and being able to go outside in just a long sleeve shirt and not bundled up like Ralphie.

We've been up and down since the holidays in SWFL. Waves of cold fronts with rain come through and the temps drop into the 60's and upper 50's and then it warms up again. Yesterday was 78, today's high will be 61 and warming up next week again. Roller coaster winter so far.

I made a batch of lemon curd, using a lemon from my tree. The recipe calls for squeezing 3-4 lemons to get 1/3 cup. One of my Meyers lemons squeezed gave me a 1/2 cup, love it.
