I got an early start this morning to take care of some yogurt I had incubating. We had a light breakfast and went to yoga on the beach this morning. We both came away feeling peaceful, rejuvenated and full of gratitude once again.

We returned home, cleaned the sand out of the car and got back to life as usual, but with a better attitude.

I hope everyone enjoys the day.

Having more than one user name at the same time is against the rules here. You can ask City-Data to change your user name, but in that case you do not have two user names at the same time. I remember NewEnglandGirl changed her name to Latasha, then back to NewEnglandGirl, and now she is RiverBird. That was/is all legitimate.

I would never have two accounts on here. I would start to argue with myself, then report myself to the mods. Get a warning about me, from me. It would all be very confusing.

I was wondering who ER was referring to! Dang, I wonder if the user name was managed by more than one person to do that number of posts. And then to have another username in addition to this one? I'm still trying to get my second gold star, it is alluding me!

In the Colorado in spring segment - this morning took the hounds for our morning 5 mile walk. Bright sunshine, crisp clear sky, 30 degrees. Very quiet and pleasant walk. Half way back, huge dark cloud overhead and started snowing. The last mile home was in a blizzard, 3" on the ground in about 30 minutes. Snowing so hard now there's white out conditions. Dogs are curled up on their blankets I have coffee in front of the fire.

Ah spring...

Sounds so cozy. Your description brings back childhood memories of snowy days in Michigan. Good times......

Indeed. Although we had much less snow in St. Louis than you did in Michigan, I still cherish my childhood memories of the snow. When I was in graduate school my parents lived in Buffalo, New York, and normally I visited them there at Christmas time - another chance to enjoy the snow!

I remember snow from growing up in Chicago. If I never again go outside into snow, that'll be fine with me!

Grew up (age 0 to 22) 1932 to 1954....about 58 miles straight North of Chgo,............the winters back then were REALLY "GOOD OLD FASHIONED WINTERS!!!! I lived on a small lake (1 mile by 2 miles), and my Dad and a neighbor would get ice cut out from the lake (and then stored in the ICE HOUSE), that would be up to 16 inches thick. We also would drive our pick-up out on the ice to various locations to ice-fish. And Air planes (WW II TRAINERS) opencockpit 2-seat Biplanes would land on the ice occasionally " for-a-smoke.". They were stationed at Glenview Navel Air Station.
