That makes sense!

I do know several flight attendants who say airline tragedies always come in threes.

Cycles are interesting. I have had people tell me their lives have had a pattern of change in some way every 10 or 11 years.

I guess it is just a cincidence but that is very much how my life has unfolded.

That's some kind of food for thought. When I was in my 20s I used to visit an elderly neighbor and she told me that her life was made up of chapters, just like a book. Often now I think of my own life and yes, that's what it's like.

Just wondered if folks are doing something special for the upcoming holiday . . . and if anyone is cooking, what are they preparing? Having guests in? Going somewhere?

Going to an Easter gathering at the home of son and DIL, with the two new grand-twins. There will be a number of others there so I have to be assertive with my grandma rights. We are mostly vegetarian (definitely do not eat ham, the traditional fare) so we'll bring a dish that is good for us that others can have. Probably a quinoa salad and I may stray from "no sugar" and bring an Italian rum cake.

My three "kid" grandkids and my two great-grandkids are doing an Easter Egg hunt in the yard. We are doing cold cuts for dinner. My out of state daughter and her boyfriend will be here. They might bring his grandson. It depends on if his mom gives the OK. My other children, grandchildren and step-son will be over. My oldest grandson got himself into some legal trouble over the weekend. He will not be here. I knew, someday this would happen.

I'm sick of Ol Man Winter and am ready to file a petition for divorce and then go out and have a "Spring Fling".

I missed out on getting reservations for Easter at the nice restaurant and the only place I could find that has lamb is an Irish pub! So we're going to brunch at the Irish pub and that will be it. OF COURSE the weather will be nice that day. Of course.

I do miss the old days of family get togethers but there's nobody around anymore.
