NYgal2NC, I'm so sorry. You are a wonderful, kind person (from your posts, I'm sure of it ) and she was very fortunate to have you for her sister.

Just saw this. Prayers, hugs and good thoughts for you at this time. Expected, or not, losing a loved one is hard. Take care of yourself and I hope all your medical issues turn out to be minor.

Ditto all of the above. It's never an easy thing when it's someone you love.

Default Hmm! This just in.

For those who "followed" me a bit last week, the pathology report is in and no cancer. Looks like you're stuck with me for awhile longer.

That's great news, Curmudgeon! I do enjoy your perspective and comments. Maybe because it seems like I'm reading things I could have written.

NY2gal, on the backs of the winged Valkyries she flies, to the Summerland. Free from pain and sorrow, she waits, smiling down on you each day.

Look to the sky, and smile; remember the joy and the love, they are yours forever.

Sorry to hear this - even though you knew it was coming it is still hard when they are gone. I second CCc girls's comment

Nygal, it is sad but a blessed relief she is out of pain. Let us know if/when the moments of sadness are overwhelming so we can offer shoulders & prayers.

Curmudgeon, whew.
