CCc girl: Owie!! Sorry to hear you were so sick. I have a friend who went through same kind of thing only she didn't go to hospital. Three to four days of upchuck and then downchuck..... bad, really bad. One wicked virus.

The thing with hospitals is they work their own schedules, not ours. Boo. My last (and I do mean last) visit to hospital was for knee replacement. Not sure which was worse, the hospital or the rehab joint.

Happy Birthday, Riverbird! My sister shares your birth date. She enjoys the fireworks and "ball dropping" each year, as though it is all for her!! Here's to you both!

Happy belated birthday Riverbird and Happy Birthday BJW!

Happy New Year to all and good luck on your resolutions!

Going through a bit of depression here. Was so great to have my children here if only for four days, but have been a bit teary-eyed and depressed since they've left. Not sure when I'll get to see either of them again and it's weighing heavy.

I'm really sorry to hear you are going through the sadness. But also glad you were able to see them for four days!! Hang in there. Time flies and things/circumstances can change over night.

I have been considering taking a ride to where my son lives in OK. He is going through some rough times and feeling like I just want to let him know he's loved. I have not seen him since 2001, give or take a couple of years. His many past mistakes have cost him dearly and so very doubtful he will ever have a decent job again. He's married for the 3rd time to a woman who needs full time looking after. She is mobile, but has bipolar, and several other problems. Mental all the way.

Wishing a return to brighter days for you!!
