Loveboating,

Have you ever heard the term compensating? It means in this case that you are looking for a fault in her to compensate for one in yourself. That supposed fault, however, still allows her to lead an independent life. She supports herself; you cannot or will not. Therefore, you must find something to knock her down, to make her your inferior. Oddly, or perhaps not so oddly, you only do this with women, your sister-in-law being the first who comes to mind. You really hate women. You feel good that your wife will work forever while you stay on your permanent vacation. That's why you constantly brag about it.

This is no great insight on my part; you've exhibited this attitude as long as I can remember. Have you ever wondered (I know you have) what would happen if you ever chanced to see the one whom you really despise and view as having the most inferior lifestyle, yourself?

Come on Ladies. We do not need all the "single" women out here telling the guy that a women without a man is like a fish without a bicycle.

Yes, maybe he is trying to impress us and his wife (as I accused him of), but cut him a little slack. He is only human.

Maybe a big part of this is why "single" older men go for the younger gals........LOL

Oh great, it looks like you've married yourself.

I wonder if he's posting these ridiculous questions to tick us off or if he really doesn't know how weird he sounds?

Kate

Maybe he is just kissing her a$$ (as I accused him of maybe doing so) as he is home and she is in the car driving home for work.

Maybe he does "get" it in some ways........LOL

Loveboating . . . just curious (wh/ I hope you won't mind, since you describe yourself as curious) . . . do you ever worry that your wife will meet someone interesting at work? Or that she is gonna get ticked b/c you are not pulling your weight w/ the finances?

It seems you kind of skirt around those topics in a lot of your posts.
