Laugh all you want but some people think we baby boomers will become of the longest living generations. Up until now, human life expectancy has been increase due to technology, farming, agriculture, medicines, etc. Up until now. These days, people are becoming less healthy, they exercise less and eat more junk.

I see it just about every day, a hot 45 year old mom who keeps "it" tight while here slovenly 25 year old daughter lets "it" go, grungy, out of shape, pizza, video games, slouch.

I see a sense of humor is lacking in some people...

BTW, a baby boomer was born between 1946 and 1964, a 45 year old woman is not classified as a baby boomer....

Quote:
A baby boomer is a person who was born during the demographic Post-World War II baby boom and who grew up during the period between 1946 and 1964.[1]
Baby boomer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Perhaps in California they have a different definition of a baby boomer since everything else there is so different from the rest of America?

If so I apologize...

Very funny - even though I didn't smoke dope and don't care how "boomers" are defined - I still found a chuckle in your link....lighten up everyone! You'll live longer.

From what I see Boomers were born between 1946 and 1964 making them 47 to 65 years of age (in 2011) and they are just starting to enroll in the Medicare and traditionally just starting to retire.

Wow...there are a lot of them buggers......LOL

I would also say the dope smoking hippie era started in the mid 60's and went to say mid 70's and let us assume (having been there) the biggest partakers (pass that joint) were 18 to 30 years of age at that time so the early Boomers (1946) would have been 14 to 30 years of age at the height of the hippie generation whereas the later Boomers (1964) were to young.

So who is to blame for the Disco Era........LOL

Yes indeed. In fact I'm a boomer, and I could have easily had a 45-year old child by now.

Hmm, I'm guessing you're one of the older boomers that was surveyed a year or so ago re: marijuana use. jk

Apparently, there has been a significant increase in the number of boomers who are lighting up. Seems the mental health professionals and geriatricians are a little worried about this and have advised physicians to specifically ask boomers about current drug (ab)use.

Marijuana or warm milk before bedtime ?
