Happy New Year, my fellow retirees and soon-to-be retirees.

May 2012 bring together all the loose ends of your affairs, help you settling in your locations, provide a pleasant picture of your finance, and improve your physical and emotional health.

In short, if 2011 were good, may 2012 give you the same, and if 2011 were mediocre, then good riddance to bad rubbish, and may the new year be a decidedly betterment to all your plans.

There was a dolphin in my backyard canal a few hours ago, putting on a beautiful show of flapping, splashing, and blowing air before heading out to the open harbour; here's hoping that we will all find that same élan in our lives during our precious freedom years.

Cheers.

I have to say, ALL my years are pretty darn good, but 2011 was probably the best in a long time. My affairs, location, finances, physical and emotional health are all excellant! If 2012 continues in the same vein I will consider myself a very blessed and lucky woman.

I would've loved to see that dolphin. I think they are the most fascinating animals and you're lucky you live where you can see and watch them. Only thing I get to watch are my grandson's dogs, next door, but dang they are fun sometimes too! Silly things. lol

Happy New Year to you and to all the members of this wonderful forum.

And a Happy New Year to you, Ol' Wanderer!

This was not the best year, but it wasn't the worst, either. I am looking forward to 2012 and to finishing projects, starting new ones, and looking towards the future.

Here's wishing everyone good health (or improved health) and pleasant moments that make good memories.
