I didn't know where to put this, but I am of a certain age, so I put it here.
What song, or album most reminds you of the time you dated your significant other?

For me, it is the Rumors album by Fleetwood Mac. Before that there was other significant music of the 60s, but those relationships fell away, so I'll go with the one that sustains.

My wife and I fell in love while listening to Neil Young with Crazy Horse...."Everybody knows this is Nowhere" the summer of 1971.

Sadly, I can't say much. I put on 37 lbs the last five years that I can't seem to get off. Here's hoping 2012 is my year to get my trim self back, lol. Maybe Linda will be so fortunate, as well.

As for "courting songs" - Ours was a long distance relationship (hence the song I posted). But once we got together, we would smile when we heard this song. It was a second marriage for both of us . . . We like to feel we saved the best for last.

Believe Me If All Those Endearing Young Charms was our song. The first time we heard it was as a xylophone solo in a Bugs Bunny cartoon in 1959 when a cartoon was a feature of every show. That night was the first time I kissed her. We forgot neither the song nor the kiss.

Our was, and was played at our wedding......."Lookin At You Girl" by Chris LeDoux. I seen Chris in concert at a local fair before I met my wife and liked his concert so much that I when the concert was over, I went outside and got into line for his second concert! After I met my wife, we made a trip to Laughlin, NV to see him in concert at one of the hotels. She likes him as much as I do.
