Just noticed this question. I don't know for sure about the singles clubs (since I'm married), but I don't think they have one. IMO there isn't much here for singles. There are plenty of volunteer activities and a nice senior center, but nothing geared specifically for singles. In general, if you're moving to a new place and don't already know people there, I wouldn't recommend a really small town for a single person. But as I recall both Hot Springs Village and the Villages in Florida had great singles programs.

Default hello to all

I am almost 49 and my DH will be 57 this year, this past year we bought a doublewide in a deeded, land owned retirement community, we have done extensive research, we also own a building lot in the same town.

the reason we bought there is because we wanted something where we own the land underneath us, alot of them are leased, what would happen if the park sold and left you in the lurch?
the community we bought in is beautiful , upkept well, close to shopping and about 25 minutes from the beach, and we only pay 105.00 a month maintance fee, now with us as young as we are and still a mortgage here in Connecticut this is handy.
we bought in North Port, Florida it is in between Sarasota, and Fort Myers
we have spent a bit of time down there and enjoy the people ,the park and the scenery. good luck on your journey where ever it may be and happy hunting
