Default Cost comparisons

NEG mentioned COL in CA. You replied to her post asking her for comparisons. I wanted to clarify which costs could be included in the comparison. I really thought it would be interesting to read.

So, does this mean you're not going to compare costs with NEG? Dang it. I was really looking forward to seeing a true, direct comparison of costs between CA and NE. (Or at least parts of CA and parts of NE)

Oh, well. I guess my daughter and I can compare the COL in her part of CA to the COL in my part of Maryland. Not quite as interesting though.
Lenora, I have been using Sperling for cost comparison information. I have found it to be quite helpful and this site might be what you are looking for, too.

Good luck.

Coney, great to hear from you! I thought you were probably in Florida by now. Best wishes with the sale and with your move. Several I know were in Venice and Bonita Springs this past winter and loved it. Sounds ideal.

Just a heads up...not sure we're supposed to mention competitors of City Data on these forums.

That is great news, ConeyIsBabe! I wish you happiness in your new home.

To me, it's funny you want to get out of Oregon. Grant's Pass is one of two areas I am seriously considering for retirement. The other is Western North Carolina. My soul seeks flowing water and trees.
