I think it's very unselfish of you to help your sister. My next comment comes from experience, are you sure that moving her in with you would be a good idea for you?

Do you have other family members that live with you? They Will be impacted.

So far it appears she hasn't been physically aggressive with you, if you two are in close physical proximity, or she feels you are trying to control her somehow, that could change.

I very much appreciate eveyone imput here. You have given me a good amount of information to get started on! Thank you!
If she's not on medication, she would make your life sheer hell. I've known some paranoid schizos to take their meds and be better, but if she's not, that's an impossible situation for you.

I don't really see any way out of this. Your only chance is if she threatens to kill someone or commit suicide, then you can call the cops and they will probably send her to a hospital for evaluation.

Wow. I can see that what I thought was a 'simple' can she move being on SSDI or SSI has turned into an much different conversation...maybe I should move this over to the health and wellness discussion.
I am going to find out the answers to some of the questions that have been brought up here. I think she is pretty stable in the environment she is in now - until certain topics come up. and I feel we have a better relationship when she is far away.
Honestly we have gotten along pretty well for a while and I guess I just forgot what its like when we dont.
There are other people in my household and they have said "no way! is she moving in!"
As long as she is getting along by herself things are ok...I am just thinking ahead.

we're just looking out for you, and anyone who now lives with you. No way to be sure that you're aware of the consequences that one unselfish act could bring with it, unless we speak up.
