I can't imagine how death could be much worse that the catastrophic events and pain in my life.

Don't get me wrong Ive enjoyed many years of happiness but those events in my life (which could happen to anyone) have been very painful to deal with.

Nobody gets out of here alive. Just enjoy the time you have. What’s to worry about?

Not scarred of death. If it happens, it does. Been several times in the past it should have. Only thing I would like, would be a do-over on a couple of things, but that ain't going to happen. Don't believe in the repent and everything is good. Have to own up to ones history.

Not afraid of dying one bit; we all do it, so what's to be afraid of?

That said, up until 2004 I used to think that I didn't need healthcare, and that I would just die, and that would be the end of it...I didn't carry health insurance, and never saw a doctor. That all changed when one night I checked myself into a hospital in Tucson at 4am, with blood pressure of 215/120. When I finally got to see a physician, I mentioned that I didn't really care if I died, but then she said "High BP can cause things that can happen to you that are a lot worse than dying".

At that moment, reality hit me smack in the face. That statement made a significant impact on me, and I have made sure to pay more attention to my health ever since.

I’m all for death without pain. That’s what I’m afraid of, not the dying part.

Yes, that’s what I did request for my mom when I thought she was in pain. I didn’t know it accelerated death.

It does not accelerate it. However it does allow the human body to relax. Each case is unique

Only accelerates death if too much is given.
