Someone has done a good job scaring you into continuing to feel good about single party voting.

Seriously, how can your reconcile your position to the reality of them not doing anything when they had control of all 3?
Oh please, I do not buy into fear and smear tactics- I am a bit older than you- in the early 90's Met Life and other corps had HSA's and people could elect to put money out of their paychecks into a health savings acct- were you working in the early 90's???

Bush was holding speeches in 2005 about this. It is a fact, dear.

My brother is a physician and right now ER's in the U.S. are clogged with illegals receiving free medical care. He has had to perform surgery on 'drug mules' from Chile, and guess who has to pay the bill- American taxpayers. These are all facts, and as the borders are staying wide open.

All of this mess and nothing is being done by either party.

My comments were directed specifically against your comment that Bush wants to do away with social security. HSA's are private....and I was not commenting on those.

Let me ask you a question, WHEN is Bush going to do away with Social Security and WHY hasn't he done it yet if that is his intent?

Saying that a lame duck president (that has the popular appeal of cancer) and has lost control of the house is going to do away with social security sure sounds like irrational fear to me.

LOL

You would think that after two terms, if he was going to get rid of SS, we might have heard about it by now.

Nobody is seriously considering getting rid of SS. To do so would be political suicide. Some scaling back and/or fine tuning is a distinct possiblity at some point however.

My wife is registered Dem, I'm independant\moderate. You should see the fundraiser materials my wife gets in the mail.

"Send us money now or Bush will ban abortion next week" type stuff....all the time. The only people that lap this stuff up are straight ticket types.

In the efforts of equal time the Republicans use.....

"Send us money now or Hillary is going to win the whitehouse and surrender to the terrorists" type stuff.
