Just for intellectual curiosity, here is what is now happening in Asia regarding the retirement of their own people. Thought it was intereseting.
"Asia's population is graying; the proportion of people over the age of 65 is currently around 14 percent, according to data from the CIA Factbook, double that of 2010. By 2050, that number will nearly double again, rising to 25 percent according to U.N. estimates. Asians have traditionally cared for aging parents in the family home, but the influence of Western culture and the rising number of elderly dementia patients are driving the emergence of retirement villages and assisted living centers in the region."
