Only one. Back when I was 16 (1968) I had a leather vest custom made at a "head shop". Living near San Francisco we were all influenced by the hippy movement, I guess. I tried it on about a year ago and found it wouldn't button, so that inspired me to go on a diet. I can fit in it now. I also found an old pay stub in the pocket, from 1973 when I was in college.
I worked 60 hours that week at $3/hour, no overtime pay, just $180 less taxes.
Just this past summer I dug out my old American Flyer electric train set I got for Christmas 1953. They hadn't been run for 30 years. Just sat in a box in the attic. I set them up in my garage and after a little tweaking I got them to work. The switch controller is long gone so I made up a series of miniature push buttons to control the switches and they work OK. I "played" with them for most of the summer but now they are back in the box for another 30 years.
They will never be for sale.
Nice to read all this. Reminded me I forgot to mention my remington .22 from probably 1959 and a couple of 12 gauge semiautomatics. In 1970 I came home from 18 months in Okinawa and almost the first thing I did was go to the drawer in my room where all my comic books were kept. It was empty. My mother had given all those great comic books to some of my little cousins. I sort of held it against my mother for doing that. I just couldn't believe that she would do something like that to me and not even think a thing of it.
Don't trash Zippy! he's collectible! If you don't want him, there are many others - toy collectors - who'd be delighted to give him a good new home. Check with your local antique shop, or advertise on Craigslist.

Understand your enthusiasm, but I'm in the throes of downsizing**. If I advertised/tried to sell all my stuff that had any collectible value, I'd never get outta here. And I'd be perpetually exhausted.
Took 4 days just to bag/box/pack over 1600 books and get them in my truck to the local high school .
Maybe I'll just put Zippy in the Goodwill pile and let someone find him there.

How about a good auction house? Toss all your stuff in boxes, and let the auctioneers deal with it!

I still have my model 1956 Pontiac convertible. I loved playing with cars as a kid and even turned over my dollhouse to make it into a garage for my cars.
