I've had it for a long time, pretty much throughout my body, right down to the end of my big toes. Hurts like the devil some days. Good days and bad days. I am disappointed that some of my activity has to either wait for another day or I just need to slow down.

I've had a knee replaced in December 2014. It worked very well. I worked hard to make a good recovery and I did.

Now my hips are giving me problems, as well as my left knee. But no more surgery, thank you very much.

The only problem is the medication I've taken for the arthritis is not a good mix with the blood pressure meds. Apparently this combination can wreck my kidneys. But I explained to my doctor I need something for the pain and Tylenol wasn't doing it. So she let me go back on the pain meds.

So far, so good.

It flares sometimes, but most of the time it's manageable. Losing a lot of weight and walking has helped the knees substantially. Thinking about it, I realize I have some pain in one of my feet, but it didn't slow me down today when I wasn't thinking about it.

It'll be unpleasant for a while, but then you'll be happy that you had the surgery.

Being able to walk is a glorious thing.

Off/on. Sometimes, like yesterday cause and effect was slightly attributed to the rainy weather. Somehow reached or grabbed at something and it felt like a bunch of needles were poked into my hand. Running my hand under warm water helps but I donít want to do that for too long.

We have our trash can in a broom closet. DH keeps closing it. I hate turning the knob to open the door. Sometimes when I do have to open it, I get that pin prickling feeling like how one bumps their funny bone.
My hand goes numb for a short while. Glad it doesnít happen all the time. Thinking of getting one of those infrared heat devices. Warmer weather is also right around the corner or so they say.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and high humidity seems to give me more discomfort than the cold.

I have arthritis in my hip. I have been putting the salonpaus pain patch on it, and I was very surprised how much it helped. I am thinking of trying medical marijuana, as my hands are bad to, I don`t trust the prescription meds....to many side effects.

I have arthritis in both my hips. It's worse when I walk, but walking is good for me, right? I started taking turmeric capsules a couple of years ago, and went to PT, that helped a LOT. Now I'm pretty much pain free EXCEPT when I walk. I wish I could get my daughter to accept the fact I have arthritis, AND it hurts, and quit making me walk all over NYC when I visit!! This year I may be off the hook, she has a brand new baby. I doubt we'll be going far.

Arthritis is fine but the gout and the associated diet is terrible.
