I want to spend every cent, making myself and others happy.
I want to see my son with a good job, in a solid happy relationship. I'd like to know that he is settled and happy in this world. Then I am good to go.

An interesting question. Being close to death recently - my utmost concern was getting my works and papers in order. To destroy some data (letters, notes, etc.) that could harm others or be misused. My stuff is currently in order.

Now, the one thing I would wish to do; lead a public corruption investigation into an, unnamed, county commissioner's court, hold their feet to the fire, and clean things up.

Look how deep these things can go:

There are lots of things I'd like to see happen before I die but I can't come up with anything much to say I want to do before then.
I thought of this and thought of that but then had to admit that if I really wanted to do them, I would have already have done them.

Sigh, that's probably why there is the saying "make hay while the sun shines."

All of the above?

I'd like to, if I could possibly drag my DH from his retirement paradise right here to do so, take a month-long ( or any time he'd agree to, realistically) road trip out to see the Rocky Mountains. We took such a trip in 1995, but we were both working, and had only 10 days vacation at the time. That wish would be feasible if I could get DH to agree to it.

What's probably fantasy, would be my wish to reconcile with my two estranged sisters, to be truly able to let bygones be bygones, and have a nice, non-confrontational, non-judgemental visit where we truly listen to each other, accept each other for the people we are, and share with each other what's meant the most to each of us in our individual lives....

Fantasy: Be able to fly through space (like Superman or General Zod, not in a ship) at speeds way beyond the speed of light so I could visit other solar systems and galaxies, Be able to eat pizza and ice cream twice a week without being tired all the time or losing my current muscle tone and physique,

Reality: See my wife being fully healthy, Snowboarding at Whistler Blackhombe in the winter then go back in the summer to do some downhill mountain biking, travel to New Zealand and Japan, get a 2nd Bachelors degree, see my daughter play 1st chair in the New York symphony, race three full seasons with the AFM or WERA and at least qualify for an AMA Pro Race
