Thought you old fogies (I'm one too) would appreciate these Kids React videos. Be Sure to watch the ones about Rotary Telephones and Walkman.

Hand a current Computer Science student an old IBM card and watch the reactions.

I had that experience. We were cleaning up my old college things a while back and found one of my programs from my sophomore year - a program on Hollerith cards! The younger generation could not believe that debugging a program mean swapping out a few cards for a few other cards.

I loved that. I texted the link to my 13 year old to get his reaction

I was a liberal arts major and we were not permitted to even access the mainframe unless we were taking a specific course. When I returned to graduate school, the PCs were finally coming out. I had the same problem that the children did. I had a class in Lotus 123. First question, how do you turn on the computer? Second question, where is the program?

Last week, we were around the table. Two people at the table were a current engineering student and a 60 yo business professor. I steered the conversation to IBM cards. The professor talked about the hours spent at the computer lab trying to run IBM cards for his research projects.

Some of the kids in the video were quite interesting.

My 12 year old is the one who turned me on to these videos. They howl with delight every time we watch one. The kids not knowing how to put their fingers in a dial phone are hysterical.
