So..were those mysterious people from the 70s? Or later? I voted for Paul McCartney but there weren't too many others that I knew about. Those tv shows? Huh? I am hopelessly square and lost in the 60s.

I'm glad there are so many other squares in here.

Musically I love 40's 50's music and big band. Mom listened to it on the raido constantly. this guy demonstrating a gramaphone said to guess who the singer was. It was 40's big band. i got it in a second, including the female backup. my mil and fil in their 80's were still trying to figure it out.

When I visited a friend in Arizona, we rolled down the road to the grand canyon with classic big band. OH so cool.

That said, I didn't know who the artists were half the time. If you'd had peter paul and mary, sure I'd have sent it the riight direction, but while I liked three of them it wouldn't be on rotation, and didn't know who the last one was.

Some questions need a do not apply option too....

I'm more a do my own thing, and ignore the stuff I don't care for person. Dress for me, love folk/filk/classical/big band, etc. Not so much the newer music. Don't ever tell me I have to since its how everyone does...

And what if I have to cancel the party? What about CAlling on the phone??

I took the quiz three times, changing a few responses, and was a square all three times. Ratz.

Another square here. :-)

However... there were almost a half dozen questions for which my preferred answer would have been "none of these"; for instance, the "which movie star would you be most likely to go see". There was no choice for either Harrison Ford, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks or any of the 'golden age' classic movie stars, so I had to choose between Depp and Tommy Lee Jones. I chose Depp because I recently re-watched 'Finding Neverland' and enjoyed it, but couldn't remember the last movie I'd seen Jones in, LOL

I'm certain that even if they'd had my "real" choice options, I'd still have ended up as a Square. ;-)

*sings "I Enjoy Being a Square" to the tune of "I Enjoy Being a Girl"* ;-)

I wondered about that too!! :-D

I guess the question is supposed to relate somehow to the use of social media, or at least something more "modern" than actual *gasp* verbal conversation? ;-)

Smile Came out as a square too and I'm surprised

The ones I can remember that I chose:

Bruce Springsteen (even though Paul McCartney was a close second)
Mad Men - isn't that a really popular show today? Even my kids (20's) love it.
Dinner and a Movie - On Friday nights - sometimes I'm stuck working but that's where I would be; what's so wrong with that?

Sunny Day - at a BBQ? - Is that horrible? I didn't see any boating activity though to pick from
Zooey as far as movies - she's more current
Ally Sheedy from the Breakfast Club - seen it more than 5 times

So, with those, I got a square. Am I that old fashioned?
