Last day was today so I left just before lunch. Free at last, Free at last, thank God Almighty I am free at last. I think I will take a few days, sleep late and do nothing to see how it feels. It has been 57 years since I have been able to do that. Looking forward to it.

That's a hell of a long work career! How old are you? And are you saying you gave no notice? Did you just "leave just before lunch" and let them figure out you weren't coming back?

Most of our contracts have a 30 day out clause, so technically 30 days, but I'd give them 60 so they can hire new staff to replace us. That's a procedure where they have to have three companies bid on the contract and one has to be chosen, and everything finalizes out for and end date at the end of the second month and they start on the first of the next month.

And when we do it we will be SO ready... which we aren't yet.
