Last year the area went through the Ambit energy MLM craze. A lot of people bought into it. A year later, not so much.

What is Mrs. MadMan doing (if there is one)?

There's been one for 35 years (and counting).

Mrs. MadMan just returned last week from spending a month in Italy on the Amalfi Coast. She went with a girl friend, which left me with ample time to pursue my little hobby here in the casinos of SoFla. For the rest of the year we'll be traveling together though, starting with a trip to Orlando next weekend. After that comes an end-of-summer 7-day cruise to Belize, Honduras, and Mexico, followed by a week-long trip to Bethesda and D.C. at the beginning of November. We're also contemplating a Christmas trip to NYC for our anniversary. Between these trips we'll be just hanging out on the beach and/or working on various aspects of our two-month excursion to Australia and New Zealand scheduled for Jan-March. (And I'll continue to play some poker, of course, when not otherwise engaged. )

You are truly blessed, as are we all. Rock on!

DH is the playerr, not me. I learned early on never to play anything with him. Backgammon, poker, chess, I always losed.

Market LegalShield memberships. Everyone should have a current estate plan, living will, and health care power of attorney. Seniors/Retired have a need to have their affairs in order and at times need to speak with an Attorney as well as their children.

Family memberships can be less than $20 a month so they are affordable for the masses and pay great commissions. Make it a family business with the ability to pass on your book of business per your Will. Make money and build a legacy that can possibly go on for generations.

I ran into someone who was into that legal MLM thing, I wonder if she ever made it?

I will continue to be on ebay. Make sure you use the store fee calculator tool, with the number of listings I put up a store would cost me more than just listing individually.

The great thing about getting holder is some of the grandma's are pretty hot!

And if any of you tell my wife I said that I will deny it!

As far as side income I'll be a company certificate holder until Alzheimer's gets me.

I make some extra cash by giving professional (and by "professional" I mean I do a little reading and research, have some experience, and get paid to do it) walking tours.

I am a walking tour guide.

It helps that I live in a historic city.

While other tour guides sometimes dress in colonial era costumes, drive horse carriages, and take groups around the Old City pointing out the Betsy Ross House, the first Bank of the US, Carpenter's Hall, Ben Franklin's grave, and Independence Hall, I am the only person who gives tours of West Philly's University City district. I point out the various styles of Victorian houses. I describe the geology and Flora & Fauna of the region. I talk about famous people who lived in the neighborhood. To me it has to be both entertaining and educational ... and I always try to keep the participants engaged and interested. A few months ago I gave a tour of the campus of the University of Pennsylvania (an Ivy League college where the first electronic computer - the ENIAC - was invented).

It's fun.

No, I couldn't make a living doing this, but it is a good source of supplemental income for me.

Clark, it wouldn't pay but you could be a docent (guide) at one of the museums.

Of course, a good looking well dressed man like yourself might get some benefits being the arm candy of someone in need of a companion to an event. I am still waiting for that camel hair Brooks Brothers jacket pic.
