They only have to be famous so that other people here will have heard of them. Somebody could talk about their 90 year old Uncle Joe who got to hold the flag in the Memorial Day ceremony and that he is still going strong but the rest of us won't know who he is. We're having fun, we do care, and sorry you can't enjoy it.

I understand your point, and it's quite reasonable. And I don't mean to come off as cranky, but I guess I'd personally rather read about someone's 90-year-old Uncle Joe! I hear enough already about celebrities. (But I'll be quiet!)

with the assistance of her daughter when she was 90.
