The original was out there main stream. I went to other sources because Huff Post rubs some the wrong way. If it hadn't been the Villages I wouldn't have reacted but the Villages has a high visibility in retirement discussions.

Senior swingers...lol
Who knew, about The Villages. Funny as it is, it's also vulgar and pathetic.

Ten women to every man. Of course the gents must love it, but they must get worn out, lol. So basically it's unofficially sanctioned prostitution.

This hitting the news could prove to be a bigger selling point than spending hundreds of thousands on advertisements.

Actually, for those of us that still think and have feelings and sensitivity, we would not, it would be awful. Being viewed and treated as if we were a piece of merchandise and commodity open to and won by the highest bidder would not be pleasant. Speaking only for myself, in the matter of ratios of unattached older women to unattached older men, 3 to 2 to 2 to 1 I like , greater than that, not so good imo. In most of the events for older singles that I have recently started to attend in my area, there have been plenty of men, but not quite as many as women.

There were some articles back when that STD's were rampant in places like that for this very reason.

That being said, there's also a lot to be said for dying in the saddle..........

All those wife swappers and swingers that were made fun of in Frank and Moon Zappa's "Valley Girl Coloring Book" back in the 80s are now hitting the over 55 communities. Heck, they've been hitting them for some years now. A person who was a 30-something in 1983 is now a 60-something.

This along with the previous comment NEG are probably the story behind the story. The projected image and reputation of The Villages vs the story line. If this had been a Del Webb it might not have been as much of a story.

+1. I'd have a hard time cozying up with my wife if she did that.
