I just spoke with two very nice people that winter in Floral City in the Singing Forest. That sounds like the place my husband and I would like. Is there anyone out here that lives there and can shed some light on how it is and is it as beautiful as they say it is ? Thank you for the info...

It's a mobile home park in central Florida. I am not familiar with the Singing Forest mobile homes, but that area of the state is quite beautiful if you don't mind being so far from the coast. Lots of lakes and trees.

can't really help but you might want to post this on the Florida forum too. Pick the one closest to the area Sining Forest is in.

I have been to Floral City several times. Beautiful area.
Not familiar with trailer park, but if you like hiking, biking a trailhead is downtown.
Historical section, just a lovely town.
Shamrock Cafe breakfast for a buck.

I understand that this is a really nice park - rural setting - about 11 miles from Inverness - I am also thinking about moving there - have been in contact with Park Manager - there is a active clubhouse and lot rent is really reasonable - you can email me for contact information if you need too

My problem is going to be 3 very small, quiet dogs that we pick up after, unlike most people. Do you know if they accept pets ?

My father and step mother were in Singing Forest for 13 years. Sadly, they both passed away last year. Their trailer is finally coming out of probate next week and I will be selling it if you are still interested. It is a 2/2 single wide that has an additional enclosed Florida Room and laundry room on one side and an additional dining room off of the other side. The living room is furnished for now.
