I have a lot of work to do around the place so when it get's too hot, I bail out to the Starbucks 4 miles down the road on my motorcycle, have Valencia orange, and mingle.
Then after the heat of the day has tapered off I come home and resume my work.

My walk. Everyday through whatever weather. I can make sense of it all while I'm walking. I like to say the sidewalk is my church because it's as serene as I get all day. This summer I'm shooting for 10,000 steps (5 miles) but I'm usually happy with 6,000 steps.

Going outside to my garden to see what has popped open, and what has died dead ! In these hot days, more is dead than open.

Morning - Wake up (to no alarm) and think "Today is all mine" (and all the tomorrows). I try to remember that on those days when I feel overwhelmed with all this house stuff.

Different highlights each day.

Not a highlight, but one thing that happens every day that I enjoy ... Waking up and going back to sleep if I want to
