That's about my territory, as well. The first play I saw was the national company of
Kismet, about the mid-Fifties when it played Rochester, NY. The last live Broadway play I saw was the opening previews of the musical
Chorus Line. I was very privileged to be living in NYC when Kazuko Hillyer brought troupes of the traditional Kabuki, Bunraku and Noh to perform there in the early 70's...those were amazing theatre experiences.
