I am blown away at the rate of changes for me personally. I'm 68 and when I remember back to 55 I was a different person. Physically I have changed in those years more than any other time except maybe from birth to age 10! I know many others feel they have changed politically, spiritually and become people they never thought they would become. People seem to tolerate injustices less and don't hold back offering opinions.
What do you see as the major changes in your life from age 55 to 65?
Many years ago, an older fellow told me "the only thing between 60 and 70 is ten ugly years". I was in my early 50s, and didn't get it. Now that I am 68, I agree 100%

I'm 67 and don't get it. What is the ugly part I'm missing?

Shorter fuse. A lot shorter fuse and something I need to work on because... well... generally I like everyone that works around me but I blow up easily.
Less physical stamina. 15 years ago I could go out and hang pipe with the fitters if we got really short handed but the days of climbing up and down 15' ladders all day are over. I am not wheel chair bound today but hard as I try I am losing strength.
