I wasn't required to fill out any forms but when I gave my notice, I told them after 39 years, 2 months and 3 days of working there, I didn't need the money or the stress. That was 2 1/2 years ago and still no regrets.

Nobody read it. It just got thrown into the cubic miles of filed paperwork.

HR stands for "Human Resources", which puts humans in the came broad category with other resources, like coal and timber, to be exploited for profit by people who own the rights, and abandoned when no longer economically workable.
