Will try to remember to do that, though the next year promises to be very busy as we're moving, building a cabin, getting residency, etc etc. so we'll no doubt be very busy.

I know other people who are living on $1000-1500 month very happily there and I have some friends there so I'm pretty sure it'll be fine. We'll have $1250 or so Social Security, anywhere between $100-1000/month from my wife's online income (it varies), and we have other ideas for part time work online that can create a few hundred dollars a month as well. But I know people who actually live decently on $1000/month after they have their home build, with no rent to pay.

More and more people are opting out of USA living and moving out to Latin America and South America where one can live cheaper and have a more relaxed lifestyle.

I know about 2 dozen people who've done so over the years and are living happily in their new countries. The fact is if you're willing to learn Spanish and live a more scaled down lifestyle (not scaled down that much for some of us) you can live well on much less income. Then there are Asian countries as well if you want to go that route. I know a lot of people live at least half time in Thailand for example.
