My co-worker talked about it for a year, but officially gave a 3-month notice.

Depends on your job.

For example fast food worker 2 weeks

Or nuclear scientist several months.

Generic Calendar/Clock - Countdown to Oct 15, 2018 in Salt Lake City

Countdown to my 65th birthday - the first option I have to retire..... the second is 5 months later when I achieve 27 years of work in the state retirement system.

I had my boss panicking recently. We are pared down to the bone employee-wise - the economy is getting better and people are leaving for other places. Someone he expected to stay for a very long time - gave his notice after working only 2 years.

I have been clear that my spouse and I are researching moving out of state. Boss was panicked we were all leaving .....

Interesting how times are changing and employees are empowered.

Are you FINALLY going to be moving out here, BassMan???

I pop in from time to time......okay, fine...rarely...but I still DO! I am so glad I saw this...well, if it's TRUE!
