I thought it might be interesting to see how much time retirees spend on the computer a day.

Not including work related time, if any.

I for instance spend 8 to 10 hours a day on my computer. However with my physical condition I can't do a lot of other things.

So, how many hours do you spend?

Probably 6-7 hours throughout the day. I've actually reduced it . Some is work (but retirement-related not making money) but most of it isn't.

Wow, I thought I was bad, but I guess I'm just average (so far, anyway). About seven hours for me, also.

I probably spend about 8 or 9 hours a day on my computer, but that includes reading ebooks that I borrow from the library and download onto my iPad. I read C- D, Facebook, and email several times each day, including while I'm having meals. I'm eating lunch with one hand while typing this with the other.

Well, the computer is 'on' about 12 hours a day ... but that doesn't mean I'm sitting in front of it.
Probably 3 hours actual time, unless I start playing Monster Busters. Then all bets are off

Way too much! And I'm not even retired. I seem to be online most of the time when I'm not working. I do manage to get things done around here but at my own slow pace sometimes.

I eat all my meals at my desk. If I had someone to eat with I wouldn't but it's just me so why not? I couldn't tell you the last time I ate at the table.
