Yes, there is life after 70 for those that have not died.

LOL...ain't that the truth?? It seems to me that the older I get the busier I get! Maybe that will be my 'saving grace' and keep me going. Right now I have more in the works than I have time to get done and actually need to go back to work to get some rest. Two days a week to get things done just means it'll take longer to get it all done.

I was always told there's no life after 30. Anyway, my older sisters are in their 70's and have more energy and activity than I do. Isn't 70 the new 40?

Or, I guess, you can choose to lay in a nursing home waiting to die.

Just curl up and die!

Seriously, I know a lot of folk who ski, hike, bike and lead fun active lives at age 80. The secret is to stay active and engaged. Don't be afraid to learn and try new things. Like my 69 year old friend who got herself an iPhone and iPad last year.

This assuming you did not make poor lifestyle choices prior or have some genetic issues.

Yeah. I'll be 70 next month.

This year I built my first computer; I'm using it now.
Then I de-bugged my grandson's computer - the one he uses for college.
Yesterday I fixed my nephew's lawn mower.
Today I fixed my tenant's commode.
Tomorrow I am going to work with my brother in law and teach him how to download music, transfer it to his iphone and link up his bluetooth speakers.

It's a fact that I am a winner in the genetic lottery. Realizing that fact helps me be patient with those who are not quite so fortunate.

I was 78 on 7/14/2015. Had a tooth pulled for my birthday present. In a few weeks I'll be getting surgery on my left eye.
Like I said, mostly seems downhill.

I walked out into my garage just now and my truck has a flat tire. Has screw sticking out of the tread. The second flat in three weeks.
