That's good to hear. I still use our local community place because they give the clothes away for free to people who can't afford clothing.
I have bought things at Goodwill for the grandkids because they do have some great buys.

I think I am fortunate that I will be moving to my retirement home gradually. As I move things I want to keep to the new home, it will be increasingly obvious what I should get rid of at the old one.

Sounds good to me! I would love to have someone strong and ruthless to help.

Nothing! Bad cold and sinus infection plus tornado warnings and rainy dreary day so I ordered fabric online. I should be shot! It's an addiction....but not as bad as most.

Sold some paperback books, no hardback books accepted. Yesterday, let go of sentimental papers, 2 bins of shredded, some in recycle, some the boys (men!) might want to see before they toss ! Sentimental papers ? Brochures from travel, graduation cards---over 50 years ago !; greeting cards in general.

Using this Thread to keep accountable; thank you !

Cleaned out 2 drawers (1 of which was a "junk drawer") and a closet in the kitchen. Got rid of some junk and some items we have too many of (HOW many sets of measuring cups can 2 people use at one time??? LOL We had 5 or 6 sets.) Upside, besides the downsizing, was I found some Forever Stamps I had been unable to find for quite a while.

Gathered up bags of clothes from my closet and hauled them out in the garage to sort into ''storage'' vs ''Good Will'' vs ''trash''. Gonna get down to what I really wear and get rid of old work stuff that I won't wear again.
