Rental properties are different than your own home. No mortgage is like psychic income. As for investing all your excess rather than paying down your mortgage I would say bull markets make geniuses of us all.

Your 100K would be about 60K with taxes and penalty. So then you would still have a mortgage and no retirement.
You need to think about it. So glad you posted in as everyone has give you great advice DON'T DO it. That is why people cannot retire because they have nothing saved up. Having a mortgage is not bad, especially at current rates. Refinance if you have a higher rate.
