I guess I am purposeful. Monday thru Wednesday we watch our two grandsons, one is 4 the other 14 months, since they were each a few months old.
Truly a joy and life's great pleasure. We usually go and visit them (for around a half hour) Thursday thru Sunday, because we miss them when we don't see them. We live within 2 miles of our daughter and son-in-law.

I am legislative chair of a federal retiree group that meets 10x a year and I prepare an oral report for our luncheon meeting. I am vice chair of our town recycling committee but those meetings are short and don't command much of my time.

I garden a lot spring through fall and cook the majority of our meals.

But, overall I don't do anything I don't want to do and just love my retirement and living in Maine.

Sounds purposeful!
And just what you want to do.
