It is all relevant to the market and the ability of those folks to pay. These places key in on the available equity in their current home their target consumer to have. The cap for so many of retirement places is often in the 400-500K range with many others obviously having lower prices depending on the region. Take a big company like Del Webb and not all floor plans will be available in all of their communities.
