Only a few, small percentage of the foolish population actually go shopping on those days. please don't assume that 98% of the world runs around in the middle of the night like jack rabbits going from store to store in a frantic frenzy !

Your not saving any money if your buying things you normally wouldn't buy.

I retired 7 years ago when my wife died, so no more holidays for me! One day is like all the rest of the days, just another day trying to survive.

I don't shop on Black Friday but I like to watch the news coverage of those who do! I'll be decorating for Christmas.

I do most of my xmas decorating on black-Friday. Neither my husband or I can stand the crowds in the stores.

None of the above. I never buy anything this time of year. No reason to. I sit home and watch the idiots on TV stampeding the stores to buy useless items they desperately believe they just have to have or have to give. Great entertainment.

Seriously? What person in their right mind wants to get involved in the mess of Parking, rude people, crowds, standing in line to save a few dollars? I'd rather spend my time on line shopping for a half hour and I'm done with it. Most seniors kids are grown and they are not looking for gifts under the tree. You do have grandchildren, but let their parents shop for them. Most people would rather have the cash anyway...

I wanted to add that I don't celebrate Christmas and sort of resent when people who do try to drag me into it. For quite a few years now I have told friends politely but firmly that I do not wish to participate in the gift giving aspect of a religious holiday that is not mine. I respect their beliefs but I don't participate in the more serious religious aspects of their holiday and I don't want to be a part of its commercialism either which I think has gotten way out of hand.

I hope this doesn't offend anyone. Merry Christmas to those for whom it means something besides shopping.

I like your style. I haven't bought anything on BF, maybe ever, except groceries.

I don't shop online, either. Football? Uh-uh. I couldn't vote on the poll because nothing matches my style.
