Ed is local to us in long island. I really wanted to see see ed but he takes only high net individuals himself.

However he trains cfp's in his techniques and methods. I interviewed one of the local underlings and he seemed to be very well versed in all aspects. I intend to make an appointment when i am ready to retire very soon.

Ed's ploys and methods can work well for anyone who is not going to spend every dime and leave nothing. His methods work on all size nest eggs.

It all means little. What you want to see is his views on safe withdrawals, his take on mixing in annuities to your portfolio.

Does he utilize methods for leveraging your ira money to turn it in to tax free money through single premium life insurance.

How does he handle estate planning . Some states have very low inheritance and estate tax thresholds. How does he work around that.

What choices does he give you in investments for retirement stages and does he go by age or your risk tolerance.

How much does he know about navigating long term care policies.

How does he structure your assets, what stays tax deferred ,what goes in taxable accounts or roths.

These are some of the issues.
