My Retirement Countdown App on my iPhone says 51 working days and counting.
Still a bit dependent upon the 401K and the market, but the FA says I should be fine!

Congrats!

Q: Does your App take into account Holiday, Vacation Days?

For number of workdays?

Congrats!. On December 11, I retired after 13.5 years at the same place. I just felt JOY that first Saturday. As time went on the joy turned into thankfulness as I thought about all the crap I will never have to do again-ever.

My transition was pretty quick. It will come, but working a part time job may interfere with the process. I really don't want to work anymore. Don't need to, thankfully.

Congratulations! Even a week's vacation throws me for a loop. I don't know how quick I would adapt to full retirement. Been working 35 years full time and still have another 15 to go before reaching retirement age. If I had saved more in my youth and planned better, I would've retired at 50 given the chance.

Yes it gets better, much much better in fact. I've ben out of the workforce eight years now, I still have days I need to pinch myself to make certain I'm not in a dream.

I'm counting all the days, work-on and off, since my work week varies from week to week. I'm also counting down work days in the month. I spend my down time (which can be significant) at work researching plans for my retirement move and activities. I know one should live in the present but the future is a lot more interesting right now.
