I see nothing on the SS website to indicate when the 1099R will be available this year.
For a change I have everything else I need early for a change to file except that.
Anybody seen anything other than "end of Jan or early Feb" which of course is law?

Interesting. I could have swore that I signed up for email notification with them but it may have been with my other retirement source.
So far nothing.
Checking online with them and my account not even a mention either.

Minor point but it's actually named a Form SSA-1099.

Yes, I forgot. Nothing special about it for us. We have nothing but the small incomes listed and we know what they were/are. No taxes taken out or medicare so I assume I could just file without having them.

Mine came last week. My friend in another state hasn't gotten hers yet.

I got mine two days ago, but it stands to reason the all the millions of them to mailed out will not go out on the same day. What's the huge hurry? Typically Social Security is among the earliest 1099's/W-2's etc. which I receive.

Received mine today (I get disability), guessing it's variable depending on the state.
